But I was trying to answer the opp's Q of has the sport grown or declined in the last ten years. Couldn't find last 10 but in last 25 it has dropped more than 30% at Div I level. Then there was the whole incredibly ridiculous moment when the IOC vted to drop wrestling as an Olympic sport. Thank goodness that never actually came to fruition. However, the article does suggest that maybe Div II and Div III could be the sweet spot....probably holds true for most non-revenue sports.
